Florida State, which lost its first three Atlantic Coast Conference games this season, got back to .500 in the league with a 77-73 victory over North Carolina State on Monday in Tallahassee, Fla.

Guard Dwayne Bacon -- who was selected ACC Rookie of the Week for a school-record fourth time Monday -- paced the Seminoles to their third consecutive win with 20 points, including the game-clinching bucket with 13 seconds remaining.

The Seminoles (15-7, 5-5) also got 15 points and six rebounds from its other star freshman guard Malik Beasley, the ACC's third-leading scorer at 17.6 points per game.

The Wolfpack (12-11, 2-8) received a game-high 31 points from guard Anthony Barber. He added four rebounds and four assists.

North Carolina State never led again after scoring the first bucket of the game, trailing by as many as 16 points in the first half.

N.C. State, which lost for the third time in four games, made a game of it and pulled to within two points four times in the second half but could get no closer.

The Wolfpack's Martin brothers -- Caleb and Cody -- combined for 24 points in the loss. Forward Caleb Martin notched 14 points and a team-best six rebounds, while guard Cody Martin finished with 10 points and four assists.

N.C. State forward Abdul-Malik Abu was the team's other double-digit scorer with 12 points.

Florida State center Boris Bojanovsky flirted with a double-double in the victory, finishing with eight points, nine rebounds and three blocks.

The Seminoles won the first meeting this season on Jan. 13 when they earned defeated the Wolfpack 85-78 in Raleigh, N.C. Monday marked the first series sweep for Florida State of N.C. State since 2011.

The Seminoles' next game will be Saturday at Wake Forest, while the Wolfpack have a big rematch Saturday at Duke, which beat N.C. State 88-78 on Jan. 23.
