BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana hit 15 shots in a row in a span of more than 12 minutes in the second half, and the 14th-ranked Hoosiers raced to a 102-76 victory over Austin Peay on Monday night in an opening-round game of the Maui Jim Maui Classic played at Assembly Hall.

Indiana (2-0) was particularly proficient from beyond the 3-point arc, making 16 of 27 attempts. That was two 3-pointers off of the school record set against Minnesota last season.

Senior guard Yogi Ferrell led the Hoosiers with 22 points, and guard James Blackmon Jr. had 20. Guard Nick Zeisloft collected 15 points, guard Troy Williams had 14, and center Thomas Bryant finished with 11.

Forward Chris Horton led Austin Peay with 17 points, and guard Khalil Davis scored 16.

Three Indiana players made at least four 3-pointers. Zeisloft led the way off the bench, hitting five of seven. Ferrell made four of six, and Blackmon hit four of six from long distance.

Indiana shot 66.7 percent from the field overall.

The Hoosiers led 51-39 at halftime before Austin Peay (0-2) scored the first five points of the second half to cut the deficit to 51-44.

Indiana's big run of consecutive field goals began with 15:31 to play when forward Max Bielfeldt stole a pass at midcourt and scored on a layup. The Hoosiers then hit their next 14 shots before Blackmon missed a driving layup with 3:17 remaining.
