No. 3 Wisconsin 68, Georgetown 65: Sam Dekker recorded a team-high 17 points as the Badgers rallied from nine down in the second half to edge the Hoyas in the Battle 4 Atlantis semifinals at Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Nigel Hayes contributed 15 points, including the final basket of the game on a tip-in with 20 seconds left as Wisconsin (6-0) moves on to play Oklahoma in Friday’s championship game. Bronson Koenig matched his career high with 14 points for the Badgers, who survived a rough night from All-American center Frank Kaminsky (1-of-8, six points).

D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera made 5-of-6 from 3-point range and scored 29 points for Georgetown (4-1), but missed a 3-pointer that could have tied it in the final seconds. Joshua Smith added 10 points for the Hoyas, who will take on Butler in Friday's third-place game.

Smith-Rivera poured in 14 points as Georgetown led most of the first half before Koenig’s driving layup in the final seconds put Wisconsin up 35-34 at intermission. After Dekker made a jumper to open the second half, the Hoyas scored the next eight – capped by two 3-pointers by Smith-Rivera – to take a 42-37 lead.

Georgetown pushed its lead to 53-44, but Duje Dukan drained two 3-pointers and scored eight during a 15-4 run as the Badgers regained the lead. Dekker slammed home a rebound during a 7-0 run for a 66-59 lead before Smith-Rivera drained a 3-pointer and Paul White made three free throws as the Hoyas closed within one before Hayes’ tip-in.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Badgers have won 22 consecutive regular-season games against non-conference opponents. … Georgetown made 6-of-11 from behind the 3-point arc and shot 53.2 percent from the field overall. … Wisconsin leads the series 2-1 as the teams met for the first time since the 1982-83 campaign.
