Brandon Ashley tied his career high of 21 points and T.J. McConnell matched his career best of 11 assists as the host Wildcats routed the Golden Bears to increase the nation’s longest homecourt winning streak to 37 games.

Kaleb Tarczewski added 14 points and eight rebounds and Stanley Johnson had 12 points as Arizona (27-3, 15-2) wrapped up the Pac-12 title. Dusan Ristic and Gabe York scored 11 points apiece and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson added 10 for the Wildcats, who shot 56.7 percent from the field.

Tyrone Wallace scored 16 points and Sam Singer added 13 for California (17-13, 7-10), which suffered its worst defeat of the season. Jabari Bird and David Kravish added 10 points apiece for the Golden Bears, who shot 38.1 percent from the field and committed 16 turnovers while losing for the fourth time in five games.

The score was tied at 12 five minutes into the contest before the Golden Bears missed their next 12 field-goal attempts and Arizona took advantage with an 18-4 surge to open up a 14-point lead. The advantage reached 20 later in the half and the Wildcats took a 48-27 lead into the break, led by Ashley’s 15 points.

Ashley scored six points during a 10-2 burst early in the second half to boost the advantage to 27 as the onslaught continued. Ristic scored the first six points of a 15-0 run that increased the lead to 76-38 with 10:21 to play and the Wildcats kept piling up the points until the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Wildcats were 19-of-32 from the free-throw line with Tarczewski (4-of-11) the biggest culprit. ... Cal’s previous largest margin of defeat came in a 79-44 loss to Arizona State on Jan. 22. … Hollis-Jefferson exited in the second half with an apparent right shoulder injury.
