Missouri 65, Southeast Missouri State 61: Johnathan Williams III had 18 points and 11 rebounds as the Tigers rallied late in the second half to earn a home win over the Redhawks.

Montaque Gill-Caesar had 15 points and Keith Shamburger added 11 for Missouri (4-3), which hit 8-of-15 from 3-point range. The three double-figure scorers for the Tigers combined to shoot 14-of-23 as part of the team's 50-percent shooting from the field.

Jarekious Bradley led Southeast Missouri State (3-4) with 12 points while J.J. Thompson added 11 points and six assists. Antonius Cleveland chipped in with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists.

The Redhawks scored the first six points of the game and held the lead for the entire first half, opening up an eight-point advantage on Bradley's 3-pointer with 10:51 to go. The Tigers cut the lead to one with just under nine minutes to play, but a quick 11-1 run powered by two 3-pointers from Isiah Jones, pushed the lead back to 11 before Southeast Missouri State settled for a six-point advantage at the break.

The Redhawks were still up by six with 6:40 to go before the Tigers took the lead back with a 14-3 run, with Gill-Caesar's free throws putting Missouri ahead 60-55 with 1:24 to go. Southeast Missouri State pulled within two twice in the final minute on 3-pointers by Jones and Thompson, but Shamburger hit a triple with 18 seconds to play and Tramaine Isabell hit two free throws with seven seconds to go to stave off the Redhawks' rally.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Missouri won the board battle 31-30, although Southeast Missouri State had 12 offensive boards. … The Redhawks were held to 6-of-18 shooting from 3-point range and went 5-of-14 from the free-throw line. … Missouri freshman G Namon Wright was coming off a career-best 21-point performance in the Tigers' last game, but he finished 2-of-5 for four points.
