Wake Forest 83, Mount St. Mary's 49: Codi Miller-McIntyre recorded 11 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as the Demon Deacons blasted the visiting Mountaineers.
Cornelius Hudson had 10 points and four rebounds for Wake Forest (4-2), which has won its last two games by a combined 61 points. Mitchell Wilbekin supplied eight points and leading scorer Devin Thomas played sparingly for the second straight game and finished with six points and six boards.
Liam McManimon led the way with 10 points while Junior Robinson posted nine points and four assists for Mount St. Mary's (1-3). Chris Wray had six points and Byron Ashe, Charles Glover and Chris Martin added five each for the Mountaineers.
The first half was competitive for roughly four minutes as the Mountaineers overcame three early turnovers to trail 7-6 with 16:17 remaining. From that point on, it was all Wake Forest, which took advantage of five-minute scoring drought by Mount St. Mary's to score 13 straight points inside of a 20-4 run before going to halftime with a 44-20 lead.
Miller-McIntyre scored eight points during the first 6:48 of the second half, including a jumper that gave Wake Forest a 59-26 advantage. The Demon Deacons went up 78-39 on a 3-pointer by Rondale Watson with four minutes remaining.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Wake Forest shot 56.7 percent in the first half and had 12 players score in the opening period, led by 10 points from Hudson. ... The Demon Deacons finished with a 44-29 edge in rebounding and dished out 18 assists. ... Wake Forest will host Delaware State on Friday.
