Jones shot 12 of 15 from the floor and, more notably, 8 of 10 from beyond the arc. Four other Golden Eagles scored in double figures, led by 15 from Oso Ighodaro. Kolek attempted just two shots and scored on a 3-pointer.

Jaden Henley and Elijah Fisher each scored 19 to lead DePaul (3-23, 0-15 Big East). Keyondre Young and Chico Carter Jr. each scored 10.

Marquette (20-6, 11-4) dominated right from the jump, coming out strong after being dominated in their last game at the hands of No. 1 UConn.

The Golden Eagles went on an early 18-2 run, putting them up 25-8. Kolek had seven assists in the first seven minutes.

The star guard didn't stop. He dished 13 assists to lead Marquette to a 30-point halftime lead, 59-29.

Jones led the way in terms of scoring in the half with 17. Marquette shot 62.5 percent from the floor, scoring 25 points off of 15 DePaul turnovers.

The start of the second half brought more success for Jones, who scored nine more points in the first four minutes of the half.

The highlight of the night came with eight minutes to go. Kolek was sitting at 17 assists, one away from breaking the program record. Jones was at 31 points.

On an inbounds play, Kolek found Jones, who made a deep 3-pointer, giving Kolek a program record and Jones a career high. Both were then taken out with the team up 95-52.

The Golden Eagles continued to roll, scoring over 100 points for the first time since 2019. They ended the game shooting 59.5 percent from the field.

Marquette swept the two-game series with DePaul for the second consecutive season and won its sixth game against its nearby rival in the last seven matchups.
