Freshman backup Keyon Menifield led a balanced attack with 13 points and Washington pulled away early for a 90-55 nonconference men's basketball romp over Idaho State in Seattle on Saturday night.

Braxton Meah had 12 points, while Cole Bajema, PJ Fuller II and Koren Johnson chipped in with 11 apiece for the Huskies (9-3), who shot 54.8 percent overall and 40.9 percent from beyond the 3-point arc to overpower the Bengals (3-9).

Idaho State's Brayden Parker and Brock Mackenzie were the game's top two scorers with 15 and 14 points, respectively, but it wasn't nearly enough to keep the visitors competitive.

Fuller had a 3-point basket and assisted a Keion Brooks Jr. dunk in a game-opening 9-2 burst that put the Huskies in charge for good.

En route to its second straight win, Washington led 41-22 at the half and extended its lead to as many as 38 points while running up by far its largest margin of victory and biggest point total of the season.

The Huskies' first eight wins had come by a total of 72 points, an average of nine per victory. They'd never previously scored more than 78 points.

Brooks finished with eight points to complement a game-high 10 rebounds and six assists, one fewer than Menifield.

Washington outrebounded the visitors 42-27.

Parker (7-for-12) and Mackenzie (6-for-14) combined to hit half their shots, but their teammates went a combined 8-for-35 en route to a team total of 34.4 percent overall. The Bengals didn't help their cause much with just five 3-pointers in 27 attempts.

Parker also had a team-high seven rebounds for Idaho State, which had won two of its previous four games after a 1-6 start. Austin Smellie had a team-high five assists to go with five rebounds.
