Matt Coleman III scored 21 points, banking in a 3-pointer with 0.04 seconds left to give Texas a 52-51 road win at Oklahoma on Tuesday night.

The Longhorns looked dead in the water with six seconds left when the Sooners' Kristian Doolittle was fouled with Oklahoma up two.

Doolittle came into the game shooting 80 percent from the free-throw line and had made 8 of 10 in the game.

But Doolittle missed both, giving the Longhorns a final chance and Coleman took advantage, elevating and sending the shot off the backboard and in just before time expired.

The win extended Texas' winning streak to five and strengthened the Longhorns' case for a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Texas improved to 19-11 overall and 9-8 in Big 12 play.

Last year against Oklahoma, Coleman's potential game-winner was swatted away in the closing seconds to give the Sooners the win.

The Sooners missed three free throws in the final 19 seconds.

With 28 seconds left, Texas' Courtney Ramey drove to the basket off a screen, trying to put the Longhorns ahead.

Ramey made contact with Austin Reaves to clear some space, but Brady Manek elevated and extended his right hand to swat away the shot.

He grabbed the rebound and was fouled.

The drama wasn't over with, though, as a missed free throw by Manek with 19 seconds left gave the Longhorns a chance to tie or take the lead.

Texas hadn't been to the free-throw line in the game until Andrew Jones got tangled up with Oklahoma's Reaves, who drove to the basket with 1:31 remaining.

As the ball bounded through Jones' legs, Reaves reached for the ball and then stood up, flipping Jones to the floor. After a review, Reaves was assessed a flagrant foul, sending Jones to the line for the Longhorns' first free throws of the night.

Doolittle led the Sooners (18-12, 8-9 Big 12) with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Manek struggled, going just 2 of 12 from the field and missing all five of his 3-point tries as Oklahoma's two-game winning streak was snapped.
