The Tigers (3-0), who defeated then-No. 25 Washington 88-66 last Friday, have an average margin of victory of 38.7 points. They will participate in the Maui Invitational next week.

The Division II Choctaws fell to 1-2 after scoring just 12 points in the final 15:30. None of the 14 Choctaw players who saw action scored in double figures. Brandon Boston led the way with nine points.

Auburn scored the first 16 points of the game, led by as many as 25 in the first half and led 48-29 at halftime.

Mississippi College started the second half much better than it started the first.

Marcus Lytle scored seven points during an 11-3 run that pulled the Choctaws within 51-40.

But the Tigers responded with a 9-1 run that pushed the lead to 60-41.

Auburn built the lead to 27 before the midway point of the second half and coasted from there.

The Tigers got virtually everyone involved in the scoring right from the start.

Harper, Doughty and Anfernee McLemore scored as Auburn jumped to a 5-0 lead. Harper became the first player with multiple baskets when he made a 3-pointer and Brown became the fourth player to score as the lead reached 10-0.

Wiley came off the bench to become the fifth player to score and he had six straight points as the Tigers expanded the lead to 16-0.

The Choctaws finally scored when Boston made a jumper, but Auburn responded with a 9-0 run to take a 25-2 lead.

Mississippi College followed with its first offensive spurt as Jon Harding made a 3-pointer, Isaiah Austin hit a layup, Dyllan Taylor made one free throw and Donovan Ham added a layup to cut the lead to 25-10.

The Tigers went on another run, scoring nine straight for a 34-10 lead.

Taylor's 3-pointer ended that run but Auburn extended the lead to as many as 25 points before the Choctaws chipped away.

Harding, Ham and Boston each made a 3-pointer as Mississippi College cut the lead to 48-29 at halftime.
