No. 11 Notre Dame 71, No. 14 Louisville 59: Demetrius Jackson recorded 21 points, five rebounds and four steals as the visiting Fighting Irish pulled away from the Cardinals.

Bonzie Colson added a career-high 17 points on 7-of-7 shooting and pulled down a personal-best nine rebounds for Notre Dame (25-5, 13-4 ACC), which went 20-of-25 from the free-throw line. Jerian Grant tallied 12 points and seven assists while Steve Vasturia had 10 points for the Fighting Irish, who shot 53.5 percent from the field.

Montrezl Harrell led the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds for Louisville (23-7, 11-6), which saw its three-game winning streak come to an end. Wayne Blackshear produced 11 points and Terry Rozier also had 11 points to go along with five assists for the Cardinals, who couldn't overcome an 11-of-18 performance from the foul line.

All five Louisville starters scored during an 11-0 burst to open the second half as the Cardinals evened the score at 42 before Colson ended a field goal drought of over nine minutes to put Notre Dame back in front 48-47. Vasturia converted a three-point play and Jackson knocked down a clutch jumper as the Fighting Irish pulled ahead 61-52 and they hit their last three shots down the stretch to preserve the victory.

Notre Dame knocked down nine of its first 11 shots from the field to jump in front 26-18 midway through the first half before Blackshear sparked a 7-0 run to trim the deficit to one. Vasturia and Jackson drilled 3-pointers as part of an 8-0 spurt to put the Fighting Irish on top 34-25 and they shot 58.3 percent in the opening stanza to take a 42-31 lead into the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Notre Dame's bench outscored Louisville's reserves 21-2. … The Fighting Irish finished a program-best 7-2 on the road in conference play. … The Cardinals fell to 2-5 against teams currently ranked in the Top 25.
