Florida 50, Vanderbilt 47: Devin Robinson scored 12 points, including a baseline dunk off a feed from Kasey Hill with 2.1 seconds left for the go-ahead basket as the Gators edged the visiting Commodores in SEC play.

Alex Murphy contributed a season-high 11 points and Robinson added six rebounds for Florida (13-13, 6-7 SEC), which snapped a four-game losing streak. Chris Chiozza (eight points) made two free throws with 1.2 seconds left to seal it for the Gators, who played without their two top scorers -- Michael Frazier II (ankle) and Dorian Finney-Smith (suspension).

Riley LaChance drained three 3-pointers en route to a game-high 17 points for Vanderbilt (14-12, 4-9), which shot 33.3 percent from the field. James Siakam added nine points for the Commodores, who turned the ball over before Chiozza’s free throws, and Matthew Fisher-Davis’ desperation shot at the buzzer fell short.

Murphy’s 3-pointer gave Florida a 19-12 lead with 8:37 left in the first half before Vanderbilt ran off 13 straight, capped by LaChance’s 3-point heave at the buzzer, for a 25-19 edge at intermission. The Commodores led by six before the Gators ran off 13 straight points – six by Robinson -- as Florida moved in front 40-33 with under seven minutes to go.

Vanderbilt answered by scoring 12 of the next 16, capped by a dunk and a three-point play by Siakam that gave the Commodores a 45-44 lead with 1:24 left. Hill and LaChance exchanged baskets before both teams missed free throws to set up Robinson’s heroics.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Finney-Smith was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules and Frazier is likely to miss another game or two. … Vanderbilt G Shelton Mitchell and F Jeff Roberson both missed the game due to concussion symptoms. … Florida had a 41-31 edge on the boards.
