Norman Powell contributed 16 points and two steals and Kyle Anderson had 15 points, eight boards and five assists for fourth-seeded UCLA (28-8), which will face top overall seed Florida on Thursday in South regional action. The Bruins had 22 assists on 29 field goals and committed only three turnovers.

No. 12 seed Stephen F. Austin was coming off a thrilling upset against Virginia Commonwealth on Friday - its 29th straight win - but was simply outclassed by a UCLA team that has won seven of its last eight games. The Lumberjacks (32-3) were led by Thomas Walkup's 22 points and 11 rebounds while Desmond Haymon chipped in 17 points.

Behind 12 points from Adams and 11 from Anderson, the Bruins captured a 42-32 lead at halftime. Walkup kept the Lumberjacks close with 12 points and eight rebounds in the first half, but they had no answers defensively for UCLA, which shot 53.6 percent in the opening 20 minutes.

The closest Stephen F. Austin got in the second half was 46-39, but UCLA promptly scored 12 of the next 14 points to take control for good. At one point during that key surge, Powell, Travis Wear and Anderson had dunks on consecutive possessions for the Bruins, who finished at 54.7 percent from the field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bruins had 11 first-half assists on 15 baskets, but none from Anderson, who entered sixth in the nation in assists. ... UCLA got a nice lift from reserves Bryce Alford (nine points) and Tony Parker (eight). ... Neither team shot well from 3-point range, as UCLA was 4-of-14 while Stephen F. Austin was 7-of-27.
