Duke led 24-14 with 8 ½ minutes left in the half before scoring 12 of the next 15 points – the first seven by Quinn Cook – to push its cushion to 36-17 with 5:45 to go before halftime.

Georgia Tech carved the lead to 52-40 on two Chris Bolden free throws with 10:18 to go, but Hood’s 3-pointer and Parker’s three-point play quickly pushed the lead to 58-40.
