GAME NOTEBOOK:
McDermott, who is averaging 23.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and shooting 48.2 from 3-point range after going 0-for-5 on Saturday, is trying to join Duke's Christian Laettner and UCLA's Tracy Murray as the only players to average 20 points and seven rebounds while shooting better than 50 percent from beyond the arc in a season. Both players accomplished the feat in 1991-92. ... The Bluejays had their 13-game winning streak against teams from Illinois come to an end. ... Creighton recorded its fewest 3-pointers and poorest percentage from beyond the arc (17.4) in a game this season.
