No. 2 Indiana 67, Northwestern 59: Cody Zeller collected 21 points and 13 rebounds as the visiting Hoosiers held off a late rally and bounced back against the Wildcats.

Jordan Hulls added 15 points and Christian Watford chipped in 14 for Indiana (16-2, 4-1 Big Ten), which fell at home to Wisconsin on Tuesday. The Hoosiers came into Sunday leading the nation in scoring at 85.4 points but have been held to an average of 63 in their last two contests.

Reggie Hearn scored 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting and Jared Swopshire had 13 points to lead Northwestern (11-8, 2-4), which has lost all three of its Big Ten home games.

Indiana held a 31-17 advantage at the half and led by as much as 45-29 after Watford knocked down a pair of free throws with 11:11 to play. Swopshire scored five points during a 13-2 run that pulled the Wildcats within 47-42, and his 3-pointer with 2:34 to play kept them within five.

Hulls hit a jumper out of a timeout and buried four free throws in the final minute to help put the game away for the Hoosiers.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Zeller’s effort on the glass helped Indiana build up a 33-18 rebounding advantage. … The Hoosiers went 23-for-31 from the free-throw line while the Wildcats got to the line only 18 times, connecting on 13. … Indiana improved to 3-0 in true road games.
