No. 3 Michigan 80, Arkansas 67: Freshman Glenn Robinson III scored 17 points to lead all five starters in double figures and pace the host Wolverines, who are off to their best start since their national championship season in 1988-89.

Trey Burke collected 16 points and a team-high seven assists and Jordan Morgan had 12 points and a season-high 10 rebounds for Michigan (9-0), which presented coach John Beilein with his 100th victory at the school.

Marshawn Powell had 18 points and Kikko Haydar drilled four 3-pointers to double his season total for Arkansas (4-4), which has dropped four of its last five games.

The Razorbacks trimmed a 10-point halftime deficit to one after a pair of baskets from Rickey Scott, but Nik Stauskas and Spike Albrecht sank 3-pointers to give Michigan a 62-55 advantage.

Robinson made three layups and the Wolverines converted their free throws in the final minutes to keep Arkansas at bay.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Beilein became the seventh coach in Michigan history to win 100 games with the school. ... Morgan scored 10 points in as many minutes and drilled a pair of jumpers to cap a 10-0 run as the Wolverines seized an early 22-11 advantage. ... Michigan shot 51.7 percent (15-for-29) from the field in the first half to claim a 42-32 edge at intermission.
