Josh Scott scored 20 points and Andre Roberson added 18 points and 13 rebounds as the host Buffaloes pulled away in the second half and improved to 5-0 for the first time in 23 years.

Michael Lyons’ free throw cut Colorado’s lead to 67-61 with 9:31 left, but Air Force went scoreless over the next five minutes and the Buffaloes quickly took control. Colorado led by 16 after Scott's layup with 4:37 left, and the Buffaloes were never threatened again.

Todd Fletcher had 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting for Air Force (5-1), which was dominated on the boards and outrebounded 45-17. Fletcher had four 3-pointers, and Lyons added 20 points.

Spencer Dinwiddie and Askia Booker had 15 points apiece for Colorado, which led 41-39 at halftime. The Buffaloes shot 56.6 percent, including 7-for-13 (53.8 percent) from 3-point range.

Air Force committed only six turnovers, but the Falcons struggled to score inside. Air Force made 27 shots, with 12 of them coming from beyond the arc.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lyons scored 31 points last November when Air Force lost in overtime to Colorado, 76-73. … Roberson’s double-double was his first of the season and 26th career. ...Air Force center Taylor Broekhuis had eight points and three rebounds while battling foul trouble.
