PENN STATE 67, NEBRASKA 51: Tim Frazier just missed his first triple-double as the Nittany Lions ended a five-game losing streak with a highly efficient offensive performance.

Frazier, who leads his team in just about every major statistical category, finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists as Penn State (11-15, 3-10 Big Ten) avenged an earlier loss to Nebraska (11-13, 3-10.

He finished one assist shy of becoming the first Nittany Lion since Calvin Booth in 1998 to record a triple-double.

Cammeron Woodyard, who had shot just 27 percent behind the arc over his last five games, went 4-for-7 from the 3-point line to complement Frazier’s dominant effort as Penn State shot 52.3 percent from the floor – its second-best effort this season.

The two worst offensive teams in the conference both started out at a torrid scoring pace, but only the Nittany Lions sustained. They used a 13-6 run midway through the first half to establish a double-digit lead at 33-23.

Penn State did not allow Nebraska to get any closer and eventually led by as many as 20 points in the second half.

Dylan Talley scored 12 points to lead the Huskers, who have dropped four straight.
