Keith McDougald scored 15 points as Jacksonville recorded one of its biggest victories in recent years by stunning Auburn 69-55 on Saturday night in Auburn, Ala.
The Dolphins (4-1), from the Atlantic Sun Conference, have won four straight, and were in control most of the game. Jacksonville, which led 33-29 at halftime, held the Tigers to 37.3 percent shooting from the field and forced 22 turnovers.
Travis Cohn came off the bench to score 13 for Jacksonville, which pulled away midway through the second half by holding Auburn scoreless for more than six minutes.
Auburn (1-4) continues to struggle in its new state-of-the-art Auburn Arena as it lost for the fourth time in five games. Earnest Ross led the Tigers with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals.
