Penn State overcame a nine-point halftime deficit and rallied past Lehigh, 70-56 Friday.
Penn State grabbed a 36-33 lead on Talor Battle’s 3-pointer early in the second half and never looked back. Battle had 21points, six rebounds and a steal. Jeff Brooks also had a stellar night, with nine rebounds and recording five blocks.
Lehigh freshman guard Anthony D’Orazio made his college debut with 17 points and four rebounds. Fellow freshman Mackey McKnight also showed great promise in his first game, tallying 13 points and recording three blocks.
Penn State will welcome St. Joe's to Happy Valley on Tuesday, while Lehigh will look to bounce back against Wagner at home Monday.
