After trading leads with the Clippers late into the fourth quarter, Utah used a 10-2 run to pull ahead for good. Joe Ingles bookended the run with a pair of baskets and put the Jazz up 103-96 with 2:53 left.

Los Angeles trimmed it to 109-105 on a pair of free throws from Gallinari with 39.4 seconds left. Williams missed a 3-pointer that would have cut the deficit to one, and Mitchell hit a pair of free throws to secure the win.

The Clippers charged out to a 29-12 lead late in the first quarter behind an 18-4 run. Gallinari sparked the surge with back-to-back baskets and capped it off with a three-point play. He totaled 11 points in the quarter.

Utah rallied with 12 unanswered points. Jae Crowder hit back-to-back 3-pointers to cut the Jazz's deficit to single digits. Then Derrick Favors finished off the run with an uncontested dunk that cut the Clippers' lead to 29-24.

Los Angles kept the Jazz at arm's length throughout the second quarter. The Clippers rebuilt a double-digit lead, going up 43-32 on a jumper from JaMychal Green. Utah cut the deficit to 48-45 on back-to-back baskets from Mitchell and Gobert but could not get any closer before halftime.

Utah finally erased the deficit with an 11-2 run to open the third quarter. A long jumper from Ingles finished off the sequence and put the Jazz up 60-58.
