Stephen Curry had 34 points and the visiting Golden State Warriors defeated the slumping Detroit Pistons 120-109 on Monday.
Chris Paul finished with 17 points, six assists and five rebounds off the bench, and Klay Thompson had 17 points. Dario Saric added 12 points, while Jonathan Kuminga and Kevon Looney chipped in 10 apiece.
Golden State had a five-game winning streak snapped by Cleveland on Sunday.
Cade Cunningham and Killian Hayes each had 21 points and combined for 12 assists for Detroit, which has lost five straight. Isaiah Stewart contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Ausar Thompson had 16 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Stanley Umude added 15 points off the bench.
The Pistons had seven players sidelined due to injury or illness, including starting center Jalen Duren and key reserves Joe Harris and Jaden Ivey.
Golden State had a 14-0 run in the opening quarter and Curry scored 16 points in eight-plus minutes. The Pistons still trailed by only five, 31-26, entering the second quarter.
Curry reached the 20-point mark by halftime as the Warriors carried a 56-48 advantage into the second half.
The Pistons opened the third quarter with an 11-4 spurt, capped by Ausar Thompson's 3-pointer, to cut the deficit to one, 60-59.
Late in the quarter, Detroit scored nine unanswered points to take an 80-74 lead. Umude knocked down a pair of 3-pointers during that span.
Golden State finished the quarter with a 9-2 spurt, including six points from Saric, to take an 83-82 advantage into the fourth.
The Pistons grabbed a five-point advantage, 93-88, when Cunningham made a foul line jumper and Umude converted a three-point play.
Golden State regained the advantage at 103-97 with a 10-0 outburst. Curry assisted on two baskets by Kuminga and also knocked down a 3-pointer during that time.
The Pistons pulled within two points on a Cunningham layup with 5:26 left. Golden State built the lead to eight with an 8-2 spurt.
Paul made it 115-109 with 1:26 remaining on a pullup jumper. Curry capped the victory in the final minute with a layup.
