Clint Capela contributed 22 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 10-for-12 from the field. Danilo Gallinari added 20 points off the bench for Atlanta, which earned its fifth win in the past six games.

Zach LaVine scored a career-high 50 points for the Bulls. He made 18 of 31 shots from the field, 7 of 12 shots from beyond the arc and 7 of 8 attempts from the free-throw line. Chicago lost for the first time in the past four games.

Atlanta outscored the Bulls 67-42 during the second half to secure the comeback victory.

The Hawks grabbed an 86-84 advantage at the end of the third quarter. Atlanta outscored Chicago 33-18 during the frame to erase a double-digit halftime deficit.

A cutting layup by LaVine gave the Bulls a 13-point edge with 11:30 left in the third quarter. The Hawks responded by closing the quarter with a 31-16 run to grab the lead heading into the final 12 minutes.

Chicago built a 66-53 lead at the half.

LaVine scored 39 points in the first half, which tied for the best scoring production since Jamal Crawford had 39 points in the second half for the Phoenix Suns on April 9, 2019. The last player to score more than 39 in a half was the Suns' Devin Booker, who poured in 51 points in the second half against the Boston Celtics on March 24, 2017.

Chicago led by as many as 13 and never trailed during the first half.

A driving dunk by Nikola Vucevic put the Bulls ahead 64-51 with 49.5 seconds left in the half for their biggest lead before intermission.

The Hawks responded with a floating jump shot by Young to trim the deficit to 11 points with 31.5 seconds remaining.

Vucevic finished the night with 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls.
