Marreese Speights scored 23 points and Klay Thompson had 14 as host Golden State had little trouble dispatching Philadelphia.

Leandro Barbosa scored a season-high 17 points in 17 minutes off the bench and Stephen Curry collected 13 points and nine assists for the Warriors, who have taken the first two of a six-game homestand. Draymond Green filled the box score with 10 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and three blocks while David Lee scored 13 for Golden State.

Henry Sims scored 19 points and Robert Covington had 10 points and nine rebounds for the 76ers. Tony Wroten and Malcolm Thomas each scored 10 off the bench while Michael Carter-Williams was held to four points on 1-of-7 shooting as Philadelphia dropped its third straight.

The NBA-best Warriors wasted little time pulling away from the NBA-worst 76ers, getting nine straight points from Thompson during an 11-0 run that erased a 6-0 deficit to start the game. Curry’s 3-pointer made it a 25-14 gap and Golden State led by 15 points by the end of the first quarter.

Justin Holiday’s 3-pointer increased the lead to 42-19 under three minutes into the second and the Warriors coasted into the break with a 61-34 advantage. Curry and Andre Iguodala each buried a 3-pointer in a 20-6 run that pushed the lead to 85-49 late in the third, and Golden State’s bench kept its foot on the gas the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Warriors totaled 38 assists on 46 made field-goals, marking the NBA-best 10th time they have reached at least 30 this season. … The 76ers fell to 2-3 on their seven-game road trip after winning the first two stops. … Golden State enjoyed its largest lead of the season at 126-79 with 1:07 left and totaled an NBA season-best 19 steals.
