Thunder 116, Jazz 96: Kevin Durant topped 25 points for the 38th consecutive game and Oklahoma City routed visiting Utah for its sixth win in seven games.

Durant went 9-of-13 from the floor and hit four 3-pointers en route to 31 points and also dished out nine assists for the Thunder, who have won six straight home games against Utah dating to 2010. Russell Westbrook scored 19 points, Serge Ibaka added 17 and Caron Butler had 15 for Oklahoma City, which sits three games behind San Antonio for the top spot in the Western Conference.

Enes Kanter collected 18 points and 12 rebounds and Richard Jefferson added 17 points for the Jazz, who have lost four straight and 15 of 17. Gordon Hayward contributed 16 points and nine assists as Utah dropped to 8-30 on the road.

This one was over nearly as soon as it began, as Durant scored seven points while Oklahoma City opened with an 11-0 run. Durant made as many field goals (four) as Utah in the first quarter, and the Thunder led 26-9 after the opening 12 minutes.

The Thunder extended the margin to 59-40 at the break and had it as wide as 28 in the third quarter before allowing Utah to close the gap. The Jazz used a 12-1 run to pull within 92-77 entering the fourth but never got any closer.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Durant's streak is the longest of its kind since Michael Jordan's 40-game run during the 1986-87 season. … Utah G Alec Burks (ankle) returned from a four-game absence and scored 12 points in just over 21 minutes off the bench. … Thunder G Reggie Jackson (back) missed his second straight game.
