David West collected 17 points and 13 rebounds and Lance Stephenson scored 12 of his 15 points in a dominating fourth quarter as Indiana ran away from visiting Chicago.

Paul George scored a game-high 21 points and Luis Scola added 12 off the bench for the Pacers, who remained the only unbeaten team in the NBA at 5-0. Indiana is off to its best start in 42 years, before the NBA/ABA merger.

Derrick Rose and Luol Deng scored 17 points apiece to lead the Bulls, who were outscored 34-18 in the final quarter. Chicago shot 35.6 percent from the field and committed 18 turnovers in dropping to 1-3.

The Bulls held a 69-67 edge after Deng’s jumper with 7:15 left but Stephenson came down and buried a 3-pointer to put the Pacers back on top. Chicago committed a turnover on each of its next two possessions, leading to a pair of baskets by Scola, and Stephenson drained another 3-pointer to cap the 10-0 run and make it 77-69 with 5:16 to play.

Stephenson put an exclamation point on the game when a turnover led to an emphatic dunk and a 94-78 lead with 1:51 to play. Chicago held a 43-37 lead at the half but was held to 29.7 percent shooting after the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Indiana G George Hill (hip) missed his third straight game and C.J. Watson scored 11 points while starting in his place. … Bulls G Kirk Hinrich was called for a flagrant 1 foul with 3:25 left after knocking Stephenson to the ground around midcourt. … Rose had more turnovers (four) than assists (two) for the fourth time in as many games.
