Jazz 105, Trail Blazers 95: Mo Williams scored 26 of his 28 points in the second half as visiting Utah rallied from a 14-point third-quarter deficit to defeat Portland.

Paul Millsap added 25 points and 10 rebounds and Al Jefferson scored 22 points as Utah pulled into a tie with the Los Angeles Lakers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Jazz snapped a nine-game road losing streak.

Damian Lillard scored 24 points, J.J. Hickson had 17 points and 14 rebounds and Nicolas Batum tallied 17 points for the Trail Blazers, who were without leading scorer LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle). Portland has lost 16 of 24 games and is 3 1/2 games behind the Jazz and Lakers.

Randy Foye converted a three-point play, Williams followed with back-to-back baskets and Millsap scored four straight points as part of the decisive 15-0 run as Utah turned a six-point deficit into a 101-92 lead with 41.9 seconds remaining.

The contest was tied at 40 with less than five minutes left in the first half before Portland rattled off 12 straight points. The Trail Blazers led 52-42 at the break and boosted the lead to 14 early in the third quarter prior to Utah rallying to trail by just one entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Jazz’s nine-game road skid was the franchise's longest since losing 17 straight away games during the 1981-82 campaign. … Aldridge injured his right ankle in Wednesday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. … Utah was just 4-of-19 from 3-point range but tied the franchise mark for 3-pointers in a season. The 2009-10 squad finished the season with 439 3-pointers.
