Rockets 121, Grizzlies 96: James Harden scored 31 points over the first three quarters before sitting out the fourth as host Houston ended Memphis' four-game winning streak.

Harden added eight assists, Marcus Morris scored 16 points and Jeremy Lin registered 15 and 11 assists for the Rockets, who had seven players score in double figures en route to their 13th straight home victory over the Grizzlies. Houston was 12-of-28 from 3-point range and outscored Memphis 33-3 in fast-break points.

Mike Conley scored 16 points, Quincy Pondexter added 14 and Zach Randolph notched his league-leading 21st double-double with 10 and 10 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who allowed 100 points for just the second time and first since the season opener against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Harden poured in 11 points in the first as Houston ended the quarter with a 33-32 edge. He hit a pair of 3-pointers in the second and contributed 13 points in the third as the Rockets entered the final period with a 94-78 advantage.

Houston began the fourth with a 12-2 run that opened a 106-80 lead. Morris scored six points during the burst after recording 10 over the first three quarters.

GAME NOTEBOOK: A jump shot by Daequan Cook with 24.4 seconds remaining gave Houston its biggest lead at 121-94. ... The Rockets scored 64 points in the first half, marking the 10th time this season they have scored at least 60 in a half. ... Memphis F Rudy Gay finished with six points after scoring a team-high 26 in a victory over Dallas on Friday. ... Since 2008, Houston is 28-4 at home in December.
