NETS 101, CLIPPERS 100: Jordan Farmar hit a 3-pointer with two-tenths of a second left to lift New Jersey over visiting Los Angeles.

Deron Williams had 21 points and 10 assists and MarShon Brooks added 19 points as the Nets won at home for the just the fourth time in 17 contests.

Blake Griffin had 28 points and 17 rebounds, Randy Foye tallied a season-best 24 points and Chris Paul had 22 points and 10 assists for Los Angeles.

Paul hit two free throws with 8.9 seconds left to give the Clippers a two-point lead before Farmer drained the 3-pointer to cap off a 16-point performance.

New Jersey squandered an 18-point, third-quarter lead as the Clippers rallied to tie the score at 88-88 on a fastbreak layup by Paul with 4:34 to play.

Shelden Williams had a season-high 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for New Jersey, which also received 14 points from Anthony Morrow and 12 points and 11 rebounds from Kris Humphries.

New Jersey shot 59.5 percent in the first half en route to a 57-45 lead. The Nets led 71-53 after a 3-pointer by Brooks midway through the third quarter. Los Angeles used a 9-0 run late in the quarter to pull within seven before the Nets took an 80-71 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Williams has a 13-4 record in 17 head-to-head meetings against Paul. … Foye had five 3-pointers as the Clippers were 11 of 22 from distance. … New Jersey’s Shelden Williams hit 9 of 11 free throws. … The double-double was Griffin’s 24th of the campaign.
