Thaddeus Young scored 20 points and Elton Brand grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds to help the Philadelphia 76ers to a 90-76 victory over the visiting Atlanta Hawks on Friday.

Jrue Holiday had 16 points and a season-best 11 assists and Jodie Meeks added 12 points on four 3-pointers as Philadelphia won for the 10th time in 12 games.

Willie Green scored 14 points and Jeff Teague added 12 for Atlanta, which tallied just 29 second-half points and had a four-game winning streak snapped.

The Hawks led the entire first half in the contest between two of the Eastern Conference’s best teams before Philadelphia wrestled control away in the second half.

Meeks sank three 3-pointers during a 17-2 third-quarter spurt as the 76ers turned an eight-point deficit into a seven-point advantage. The run ended with Andre Iguodala’s dunk with 4:22 left in the quarter.

The Hawks were outscored 25-10 in the third quarter after leading 47-39 at halftime.

Atlanta shot just 34.4 percent in the second half. Leading scorer Joe Johnson had just eight points after four consecutive 20-point outings.

Iguodala scored 11 points and had two steals to become the fifth player in 76ers' history to accumulate 1,000 or more career steals. Brand added 10 points.
