Danny Granger’s 3-pointer with 1:29 left sealed the Indiana Pacers’ 98-91 overtime victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.
Granger, plagued by foul trouble in the first half, hit a driving layup with his left hand on Indiana’s previous possession, blocked a 3-point attempt by Antawn Jamison and then sank the 3 to put the Pacers up 93-87.
The Cavs had a chance to win it in regulation, but Kyrie Irving’s left-handed flip shot rimmed out as time expired.
The Pacers have won six straight in the series.
Granger had 22 points, including seven in a row in overtime. Roy Hibbert had 17 points and 13 rebounds and David West had 14 points and 10 rebounds, including the game-tying shot that sent it to overtime.
Irving had 20 points, but missed his last four shots, including the potential game winner at the end of regulation. Anderson Varejao had 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Cavs.
