David West and Marco Belinelli scored 18 points apiece and the New Orleans Hornets remained unbeaten by recording a 107-87 victory over the visiting Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.

Chris Paul and Emeka Okafor each recorded double-doubles as the Hornets improved to 8-0 and furthered their status as the lone undefeated team in the NBA.

Paul had 11 points, 13 assists and five steals for New Orleans and Okafor contributed 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Nicolas Batum scored 16 points to lead Portland (6-5).

Marco Belinelli connected on four 3-point baskets for New Orleans, which led by 13 points at halftime.

Peja Stojakovic (11 points), Willie Green (11) and Trevor Ariza (10) also scored in double figures for the Hornets.

Andre Miller and Wesley Matthews scored 14 points for Portland and LaMarcus Aldridge scored 12. Marcus Camby had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Brandon Roy, the Trail Blazers’ leading scorer, had just two points on 1-of-7 shooting.
