Mike Dunleavy scored 30 points and the Indiana Pacers took out their recent frustrations with a convincing 124-92 victory over the visiting New Jersey Nets on Friday.
Dunleavy was 6-of-7 from 3-point range as Indiana (17-26) snapped a six-game losing skid and won for just the fourth time in 16 games.
Brook Lopez scored 28 points for New Jersey (14-33), which dropped to 3-22 on the road.
The Pacers need a strong second half to crack the Eastern Conference playoff field and Friday’s 32-point winning margin was their largest of the season.
Roy Hibbert scored 20 points and Danny Granger added 18 for the Pacers, who scored 32 or more points in each of the first three quarters.
Indiana shot 62.5 percent from the field and was 12-of-22 from 3-point range. The Pacers had already topped their season average of 97.3 points before the fourth quarter started, taking a 104-78 lead into the final stanza.
Travis Outlaw added 12 points for the Nets, who had won four of their previous five games. New Jersey has lost 10 consecutive road games.
