Rhys Hoskins belted a two-run homer and had an RBI double to propel the visiting Philadelphia Phillies to a 9-5 victory over the Washington Nationals on Wednesday.

Didi Gregorius added a two-run homer in the seventh inning for the Phillies, who overcame an early three-run deficit to win their fourth game in a row. Philadelphia looks to match a season-high winning streak on Thursday when it vies for a sweep of the four-game series.

Former Nationals star Bryce Harper collected three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored to improve to 9-for-19 with one homer, four RBIs and seven runs scored in his last five games.

Chase Anderson allowed three homers to the first eight batters he faced before exiting after four innings. J.D. Hammer bridged the gap to Matt Moore (1-3), who picked up the win after permitting two runs on three hits over four innings.

Luis Garcia belted a pair of solo homers and Victor Robles and Carter Kieboom (two RBIs) also went deep for the Nationals, who lost for the 10th time in the last 14 contests.

Philadelphia erased the three-run deficit with a four-run outburst in the third inning.

Travis Jankowski doubled off Paolo Espino (3-3) to plate Andrew Knapp with the Phillies' first run before coming around to score on Jean Segura's double off the left-field wall. Harper extended his on-base streak to 13 games with an RBI single before coming home on Hoskins' double to center field.

Philadelphia established some breathing room in the fifth inning on Hoskins' team-leading 24th homer of the season. Hoskins deposited a 1-0 slider from Espino over the wall in left field to stake the Phillies to a 6-3 advantage.

Hoskins was hit by a pitch in his next at-bat in the seventh inning, and Gregorius sent the next offering from Jefry Rodriguez into the second deck in right field for a two-run homer.

Washington set the tone early after Robles sent Anderson's first pitch of the game over the wall in left field. The Nationals added to their lead in the second inning, as Garcia deposited a 2-1 changeup over the wall in right field before Kieboom crushed the next pitch for back-to-back homers.
