Charlie Blackmon hit a two-out solo home run in the bottom of the 10th inning, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-5 in Denver on Sunday.

Blackmon, Chris Owings and Ryan McMahon had two hits to help the Rockies end an eight-game skid to Los Angeles.

Will Smith homered among his three hits, Justin Turner also went deep and had two hits and A.J. Pollock also had two hits for the Dodgers.

Los Angeles was without Mookie Betts, who left Saturday's game with a right hip irritation, and then lost Gavin Lux to a left hamstring injury in the ninth.

The Dodgers went ahead 5-4 in the top of the 10th on Smith's single off Mychal Givens (3-2), but Colorado won it against reliever Phil Bickford (0-1).

Trevor Story tied it with a sacrifice fly that drove in Garrett Hampson from third and Blackmon won it with his fifth home run, a shot just over the scoreboard in right.

The Rockies trailed 4-3 entering the ninth but tied it against closer Kenley Jansen on Owings' RBI single with one out.

Colorado starting pitcher Jon Gray allowed two runs on six hits and struck out seven in seven innings.

Gray left the game with a 3-2 lead but reliever Carlos Estevez couldn't hold it in the eighth. He gave up a double to Turner before Smith homered to left, his 11th of the season, to put Los Angeles ahead.

Blackmon gave the Rockies a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the first. The Dodgers took the lead in the third when Turner hit a two-run homer to right field, his 16th of the season, driving in starting pitcher David Price.

Price left after throwing 66 pitches in four innings, both of which were season highs.

Colorado got even in the fifth inning when second baseman Chris Taylor dropped Garrett Hampson's popup, allowing Owings to score from second.

The Rockies went ahead in the seventh on pinch hitter Matt Adams' single off the glove of Turner that drove in McMahon.
