Randal Grichuk hit two home runs and had four RBIs, right-hander T.J. Zeuch earned his first major league win and the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the visiting New York Yankees 6-4 on Sunday afternoon.

Zeuch (1-0), who entered the game in the second inning, allowed three runs (two earned), five hits and three walks while striking out five in 5 1/3 innings. It was his third career major league outing.

Ken Giles pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 20th save.

By taking the rubber match of the three-game series, the Blue Jays (59-91) won four times on their six-game homestand. The Yankees (98-53) ended their season-long road trip at 6-4.

Aaron Judge hit his 23rd homer in the first inning against Toronto opener Wilmer Font.

After Yankees opener Chad Green pitched around a first-inning double, left-hander Jordan Montgomery allowed two runs in the second. Brandon Drury doubled and scored on a single by Billy McKinney. Richard Urena followed with an RBI double.

The Yankees took a 3-2 lead in the third against Zeuch. Tyler Wade singled and scored on DJ LeMahieu's double. Judge walked and Didi Gregorius hit an RBI single.

Montgomery, making his first major league appearance this season on his return from elbow surgery, allowed Grichuk's 27th homer in the bottom of the third.

Montgomery allowed four hits and three runs in two innings. Dellin Betances, making his first appearance of the season because of a shoulder impingement, struck out his only two batters in the fourth. Nestor Cortes Jr. (5-1) struck out the third batter of the inning.

Grichuk hit his 28th homer against Cortes in the fifth, a three-run blast that followed Bo Bichette's bunt single and Cavan Biggio's walk.

Derek Law replaced Zeuch with one out in the seventh with Austin Romine at second base after a double. Romine scored on Urena's throwing error on LeMahieu's grounder to third. LeMahieu stole third and Judge was hit by a pitch before Law ended the inning with a strikeout and a groundout.

Toronto's Sam Gaviglio pitched around a walk in the eighth inning.
