Bobby Wilson homered and hit an RBI single, and Logan Forsythe drove in three runs with two singles on Wednesday to lead the Minnesota Twins past the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates 6-4 for a sweep of their two-game series.

Elias Diaz homered, and Gregory Polanco had a two-run single for Pittsburgh, which ended a road trip 4-5.

Jose Berrios, in his first career start against the Pirates, allowed four runs (three earned) and seven hits in 3 2/3 innings. Gabriel Moya (3-0), the third of six Minnesota pitchers, tossed a scoreless 1 1/3 innings for the win, and Trevor Hildenberger pitched the ninth for his third save.

Chris Archer, making his third start for Pittsburgh, allowed four runs and six hits in five innings. He struck out seven and walked none. Edgar Santana (2-2) gave up a run and two hits in the sixth.

Pittsburgh took a 1-0 lead in the second. With one out, Francisco Cervelli was hit with a pitch. An out later, he moved to second on Josh Harrison's base hit. Colin Moran reached on an infield single, but Twins shortstop Jorge Polanco threw errantly to first, allowing Cervelli to score.

In the bottom of the second, Minnesota's Miguel Sano led off with a double to the corner in left, moved to third on a groundout and scored on Forsythe's single to tie it at 1. With two outs, Wilson drove in Forsythe with a single to give the Twins a 2-1 lead.

Pittsburgh regained the lead in the fourth. Diaz led off with his ninth homer, a shot to left that tied it. Two singles and a walk woven among two outs later, Gregory Polanco hit a bases-loaded single to right to make it 4-2 and chase Berrios.

The Twins scored three times in the sixth on Jorge Polanco's RBI single and Forsythe's two-run single, giving them a 5-4 lead.

Wilson extended that to 6-4 with a leadoff homer, his second, to left in the seventh.
