Michael Conforto and Brett Wisely slugged three-run homers and the San Francisco Giants scored 10 runs on five homers while blasting the Arizona Diamondbacks 11-0 on Tuesday night in Phoenix.
Tyler Fitzgerald hit a two-run homer and Patrick Bailey and Heliot Ramos added solo shots as San Francisco (79-79) won its fifth straight game and improved to 7-1 on a nine-game road trip. Ramos recorded his first career four-hit game.
Logan Webb (13-10) gave up four hits and one walk in six innings and struck out three for the Giants. Webb allowed six hits and no runs in 13 innings while beating the Diamondbacks twice this season.
Corbin Carroll and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. each had two hits for Arizona (87-71), which lost its third straight game. The Diamondbacks are in third place in the National League wild-card race, a half-game behind the New York Mets (87-70) and a half-game ahead of the Atlanta Braves (86-71).
Brandon Pfaadt (10-10) served up two homers and lasted just 2 2/3 innings for Arizona. He gave up five runs (four earned), six hits and two walks while striking out four.
Blake Walston followed Pfaadt and was hammered for three homers in 2 1/3 innings. He gave up five runs (three earned) and four hits.
San Francisco's power display started in the second when Bailey ripped a one-out homer to right-center. It was his eighth blast of the season.
In the third, Ramos singled to start the frame and LaMonte Wade Jr. doubled. After Matt Chapman struck out, Conforto came up and slammed a three-run homer to left-center to make it 4-0. It was his 20th long ball of the season.
Walston was on the mound later in the inning with two outs when Geraldo Perdomo mishandled Grant McCray's grounder to put runners on the corners. Wisely followed with a homer to right-center, his fourth of the season.
Ramos led off the fourth with his 22nd homer to make it 8-0. One inning later, Bailey led off with a single and Fitzgerald followed with a shot to left for his 15th home run of the season.
The Giants nearly had a sixth homer. With two on and two outs in the second, Mike Yastrzemski hit a deep drive to right-center, but Carroll leaped above the wall right in front of the pool to rob him of a three-run blast.
Fitzgerald missed a second homer by less than a foot when he doubled off the wall in left in the ninth.
