Michael Toglia belted a three-run homer in the sixth inning and Ryan Feltner recorded his first win in nearly five months, lifting the visiting Colorado Rockies to a 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday.

Feltner (2-10) allowed one run on two hits and three walks while striking out six batters in six innings. He snapped a stretch of five straight no-decisions and captured his first win since he worked five innings in a 12-4 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on April 12.

A throwing error by Colorado second baseman Aaron Schunk allowed Blake Perkins to score and trim the Rockies' lead to 3-2 in the seventh inning.

Colorado (53-89) held firm, however, as Angel Chivilli retired the side in the eighth inning and Tyler Kinley did the same in the ninth -- with help from center fielder Brenton Doyle -- to secure his 10th save of the season.

Doyle threw out pinch runner Brewer Hicklen at third base after Rhys Hoskins' flyout to end the game.

Ezequiel Tovar ripped a one-out double in the sixth inning for the Rockies to spoil Frankie Montas' no-hit bid.

Montas (6-10) then walked Ryan McMahon and Toglia stepped up two batters later and deposited a first-pitch sinker over the wall in center field. Toglia's homer was his second in as many games and team-leading 23rd of the season, snapping a tie with Tovar and Doyle.

Toglia added a one-out double in the ninth as Colorado recorded its second straight win despite mustering just three hits.

Montas took the loss despite striking out a season-high 10 batters. He permitted three runs on just two hits and three walks in six innings.

Milwaukee's Joey Ortiz had two hits, including an RBI single. The Brewers (81-60), however, totaled just four hits on the night en route to their third straight loss.

Ortiz opened the scoring in the second with his two-out hit to right that plated Jake Bauers, who stole second after working a one-out walk against Feltner.

Toglia's homer gave the Rockies a 3-1 lead before Milwaukee halved the deficit in the seventh inning. Perkins had a two-out single to right field and stole second before scoring on Schunk's error.
