Miguel Rojas had a pair of RBI singles during a seven-run, tie-breaking sixth inning, leading the host Miami Marlins to a 10-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday.

The Phillies had their six-game win streak snapped. The Phillies also had their 11-game win streak over division opponents snapped, which was the longest such run in the majors since the Cleveland Indians in 2017.

Prior to Friday, the Phillies had scored at least seven runs in seven straight games, the first team from Philadelphia to accomplish that feat since 1933.

But that streak was also snapped by Marlins pitchers, including starter Jesus Luzardo -- who held the Phillies to three runs in 5 2/3 innings -- along with relievers Steven Okert (1-1), Ross Detwiler, Zach Pop and Zach Thompson.

Offensively for the Marlins, Rojas went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and one walk; Jazz Chisholm doubled and tripled and scored twice; and Jesus Sanchez drilled a three-run homer. Sanchez finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs, two runs and one walk.

Kyle Gibson (10-6) took the loss. He allowed eight hits, two walks and eight runs in 5 1/3 innings.

Phillies reliever JD Hammer fared poorly in the crucial sixth inning, retiring just one batter, and even that was on a hard-hit ball, before he was removed. He allowed an RBI single, an RBI walk, a run-scoring wild pitch and a two-run single.

The game started in promising fashion for Philadelphia as leadoff batter Freddy Galvis hit a 406-foot homer in the first inning.

But Miami (56-79) took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the first as Chisholm golfed a ground-rule double, Rojas walked, and Sanchez pulled his three-run homer to right.

The Phillies (69-65) cut their deficit to 3-2 in the second as Andrew McCutchen was hit by a pitch (left leg) and scored on Matt Vierling's triple down the first-base line.

However, Vierling was stranded at third when Luzardo got the next three batters: Didi Gregorious (swinging), Rafael Marchan (looking) and Gibson (groundout).

The Phillies tied the score in the sixth as McCutchen drew a two-out walk and scored on Vierling's double just inside the left-field line.

But the Marlins then decided things in the bottom of the sixth, getting one triple, five singles, three walks and one wild pitch.
