Bryce Harper reached base four times and hit a solo home run in the seventh inning as the Philadelphia Phillies completed a three-game sweep of the visiting Atlanta Braves with a 5-1 win on Sunday night.

The Phillies are 3-0 for the first time since 2011.

Philadelphia starting pitcher Jake Arrieta (1-0) gave up one run on three hits in six innings. He struck out six, but also walked six while throwing 104 pitches.

Andrew McCutchen also hit a solo home run and scored twice for the Phillies. Rhys Hoskins walked three times and was hit by a pitch to reach base in all four plate appearances.

Immediately after Harper homered to give the Phillies a 4-1 lead, Hoskins was hit by a pitch thrown by Atlanta reliever Shane Carle, who was ejected. Hoskins would later score in the inning on an infield single by Maikel Franco to provide the final score.

Atlanta starter Kyle Wright (0-1) pitched 4 1/3 innings, giving up three runs on two hits while walking five and striking out four.

Wright was lifted after walking his fifth batter of the game and then hitting Jean Segura to put runners on first and second with one out in the fifth and the score tied 1-1.

Max Fried entered in relief and walked Harper and Hoskins to force in a run, and then gave up a sacrifice fly to Philadelphia catcher J.T. Realmuto to score Segura and give the Phillies a 3-1 lead.

Arrieta pitched out of trouble in the first two innings, but wasn't able to escape the third.

He gave up a leadoff single to Josh Donaldson, then walked Freddie Freeman, Arrieta's fourth walk of the game.

After Arrieta got Ronald Acuna Jr. to ground into a force to put runners on first and third, Realmuto was unable to glove an inside fastball and Donaldson scored on the passed ball for a 1-0 lead.

McCutchen hit the first pitch of the bottom of the third inning over the right-center field fence, tying the game at 1-1.
