OAKLAND, Calif. -- Oakland A's right fielder Josh Reddick might have found himself a new job Tuesday night at the O.co Coliseum.

Manager Bob Melvin had Reddick take Oakland's lineup card to home plate before the game, and the A's proceeded to rout the Red Sox 9-2, playing one of their best all-around games of the season while snapping a six-game losing streak.

Catcher Stephen Vogt, shortstop Marcus Semien and Reddick each homered, fueling a 12-hit Oakland attack.

A's left-hander Drew Pomeranz allowed two runs on four hits over seven innings, ending his three-game skid.

The A's lead the major leagues with 35 errors, but they made a half dozen or so spectacular defensive plays against Boston and just one error.

"I'm taking it out tomorrow," Reddick said of the lineup card. "Bob got on me about that as soon as we shook hands. He said, 'Make sure you take that card out tomorrow.' If that's what it takes, that's what it takes."

Pomeranz won for the first time since his first start of the season on April 10, when he threw seven shutout innings against the Seattle Mariners. He struck out three and walked none for the first time since his first start.

For one of the rare times this season, the A's had strong pitching, hitting and defense on the same night.

Left fielder Coco Crisp set the defensive tone, throwing out Boston second baseman Dustin Pedroia in the first inning when he tried to stretch a single into a double. Then in the second he made a running catch near the wall, robbing first baseman Mike Napoli of extra bases. Vogt and second baseman Eric Sogard made sliding catches after long runs, and center fielder Sam Fuld made a diving grab.

"We all believe that’s who we are," Pomeranz said of the A's strong all-around performance. "We’ve just kind of been in a little funk in a little stretch there this season. This is who we are. This is how we played last year. We just build from here now."

Vogt hit his team-high ninth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the first inning. He scored twice and drove in two runs, giving him an American League-leading 30 RBIs for the season. Vogt matched his career high for homers in a season.

"Hopefully he's got a few more in his tank," Melvin said. "It's consistent at-bats every night. The power, average, the whole bit. Between he and Reddick, they've been two of the better offensive producers in the league."

Reddick went 4-for-5 with his sixth home run of the season, a solo blast in the third. He drove in three runs, scored twice and raised his batting average to a team-high .346.

Semien hit a solo shot in the fourth, his sixth homer of the season. He also tripled and singled in five at-bats, finishing a double shy of the cycle. Sogard went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.

"This is probably the best I've swung the bat for the longest period of time ever in my life in professional baseball," Reddick said. "All this consistency, driving the ball and getting my average up is something I wanted to focus on this year and it's coming all together for me right now. Maybe it's maturing as a hitter and getting older."

Red Sox right-hander Justin Masterson (2-2) gave up six runs on six hits over 2 1/3 innings, his shortest outing of the season. He's 0-6 with a 7.26 ERA in eight career games at the Coliseum.

"Other than not pitching good, I'm fine," Masterson said. "Part of me wants to put it on the voodoo of the Coliseum. I never got close to getting comfortable. We knew this would be a year of hitting spots, and that didn't take place."

The A's jumped on Masterson in the first inning, taking a 3-0 lead. With one out, Semien tripled high off the center-field fence at the 400-foot mark, and Reddick brought him home with a single to right.

Vogt fell behind 0-2 but worked the count full and lined Masterson's next pitch over the right-field fence with two outs.

The A's added a run in the second as third baseman Brett Lawrie led off with an infield single and scored on Sogard's double.

Oakland scored three more times in the third and knocked Masterson out of the game. Reddick led off with a long home run to right. With one out, Masterson walked Vogt and was replaced by right-hander Steven Wright.

Wright walked first baseman Max Muncy and gave up a single to Lawrie, loading the bases. Sogard lined a two-run single to center.

"His last two outings are not anywhere close to what he's shown this year," Red Sox manager John Farrell said of Masterson. "He’s clearly not right, whether it is physical or part of his delivery."

Semien launched a leadoff homer to left off Wright in the fourth, his sixth of the season, making it 8-0.

Right fielder Shane Victorino doubled and scored Boston's first run in the sixth, cutting Oakland's lead to 8-1. Pedroia went 2-for-3 with a double and scored a run in the seventh. First baseman Mike Napoli and catcher Blake Swihart each had an RBI.

NOTES: A's RHP Jarrod Parker will be examined Monday by Dr. James Andrews. What had been a strong recovery from his second Tommy John surgery (performed in March 2014) was derailed May 8 when he sustained a broken bone in his pitching elbow during a rehab start for Triple-A Nashville. ... A's 1B Ike Davis, who left Monday night's game with a strained left quad, was out of the starting lineup Tuesday but took pregame batting practice. ... Red Sox RF Shane Victorino, who came off the disabled list Monday after recovering from a hamstring injury, made his second straight start, both against Oakland left-handed starting pitchers. ... Boston LHP Wade Miley (1-4) will try to snap his three-game losing streak Wednesday when he faces Oakland RHP Sonny Gray (4-0) in the finale of the three-game series. Miley has a 6.91 ERA and hasn't won since April 21 against the Tampa Bay Rays.
