Brewers 10, Phillies 4: Ryan Braun blasted three home runs for the second time in his career and collected a franchise-record seven RBIs to help Milwaukee spoil Philadelphia's home opener.

Jonathan Lucroy went 3-for-4 and scored twice and Carlos Gomez added a pair of doubles and two runs for the Brewers, who have won four straight. Two of Braun's homers came against Phillies starter Kyle Kendrick (0-1), who surrendered six runs - four earned - on nine hits over five innings.

Milwaukee starter Kyle Lohse (1-1) battled control problems, allowing five walks and seven hits over five innings, but limited the damage to three runs. Jimmy Rollins had two hits and two RBIs and Ben Revere added two hits and scored twice for Philadelphia.

The Phillies broke out on top on Marlon Byrd's RBI single in the first, but Mark Reynolds' run-scoring single in the second tied it and Braun put the Brewers in command. He blasted a three-run shot to left in the four-run third and took Kendrick's first pitch the opposite way for a solo blast in the fourth.

Philadelphia pushed across single runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth to get within 6-4, but Revere's misplay on a deep fly ball from Reynolds - the Phillies' third error of the game - allowed the Brewers to tack on an insurance run in the seventh. Braun's third blast, a three-run shot off Brad Lincoln in the eighth, put it out of reach.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phillies 2B Chase Utley, who has hit safely in every game this season, was scratched from the lineup with the flu. … Braun, who was loudly booed by the home crowd during introductions, also made a diving catch in right field to rob Carlos Ruiz and end the second inning, stranding two runners. … The Phillies have lost their home opener each of the last three years and seven of the past nine.
