Giants 5, Padres 3 (10): Brandon Belt blasted a two-run homer in the 10th inning following Michael Morse’s tying solo shot in the ninth as visiting San Francisco ended San Diego’s five-game winning streak.

Sergio Romo (4-3) tossed a scoreless ninth inning and Santiago Casilla worked around a leadoff walk in the 10th for his second save. Gregor Blanco belted his first home run of the season and Hunter Pence recorded two hits for the Giants, who snapped their three-game losing streak by winning for only the sixth time in their last 24 contests.

San Francisco trailed 3-2 before Morse broke a 90 at-bat homerless streak with a leadoff shot in the ninth off Huston Street, who suffered his first blown save in 24 opportunities. Pence doubled off Dale Thayer (3-3) to open the 10th inning and scored on Belt’s two-run blast into the right-field seats.

Blanco gave San Francisco an early lead with a two-out solo homer in the second off Odrisamer Despaigne, who yielded one run on two hits and four walks while throwing 103 pitches over six frames. The Padres pulled even in the sixth as Brooks Conrad singled to begin the inning and scored on Seth Smith’s sacrifice fly to center field.

San Francisco responded with a run in the seventh as Blanco drew a leadoff walk from Alex Torres, moved to second on a wild pitch and third on a balk by Kevin Quackenbush before scoring on Joe Panik’s sacrifice fly. San Diego trailed 2-1 heading into the seventh before Jake Goebbert tripled in a run and scored on Cameron Maybin's sacrifice fly.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Giants 3B Pablo Sandoval left the game in the first inning after being hit by a pitch near his left elbow and is listed as day-to-day. … Despaigne is the first pitcher in Padres history to work at least six innings and allow one run or fewer in each of his first three career starts. … Giants starter Tim Hudson allowed one run on three hits over six innings and remained winless since June 12.
