Athletics 7, Yankees 4: Josh Donaldson delivered a tiebreaking home run in the seventh inning and Yoenis Cespedes recorded a pair of solo shots as visiting Oakland erased a 4-0 deficit to win its fifth straight game.

Donaldson and Cespedes had three hits apiece while Jed Lowrie went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Athletics, who have won five straight over New York. Jesse Chavez (5-3) snapped a two-start losing streak after yielding four runs in six innings before Sean Doolittle pitched a perfect ninth to earn his seventh save.

Jacoby Ellsbury delivered a three-run homer among his three hits and Derek Jeter added an RBI for the Yankees, who lost their fourth straight and are 4-12 in their last 16 contests at home. Jose Ramirez (0-1), who was making his major-league debut, yielded Donaldson's solo shot to left on an 0-1 fastball with one out.

After Jeter's infield hit in the third scored Ichiro Suzuki, Ellsbury crushed a 1-1 pitch out to right-center - his third homer of the season - to give New York a 4-0 lead. Cespedes got the Athletics on the board when he led off the fourth with a blast to center and took Matt Daley deep to right to start the sixth and make it 4-3.

Oakland loaded the bases with none out after Cespedes' second homer but could only add Alberto Callaspo's sacrifice fly, which tied it 4-4. The Athletics scored a pair of insurance runs in the ninth as Brandon Moss was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Kyle Blanks followed with a sacrifice fly - Oakland's third of the game.
