Rangers 3, Angels 2: Adam Rosales singled home the winning run as Texas scored twice in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat visiting Los Angeles for the first time in 10 games.

Alex Rios singled to lead off the ninth, moved up on Adrian Beltre’s base hit and scored on Mike Carp’s pinch-hit single off closer Huston Street (0-1). Rosales followed by lining a shot to the wall in left field for his second hit to make a winner of Neftali Feliz (1-1), who pitched a scoreless ninth inning.

Collin Cowgill had two hits, Albert Pujols doubled and Kole Calhoun and Efren Navarro knocked in runs as the Angels remained tied with Oakland atop the American League West. Street blew his first save in 10 opportunities with Los Angeles, which saw its four-game winning streak come to an end.

Erick Aybar and David Freese opened the second inning with base hits before Navarro singled home a run and a second scored on Calhoun’s groundout. The Rangers cut their deficit in half in the fifth when Rosales singled, stole second and scored on Rougned Odor’s base hit to right.

The Angels loaded the bases with two walks around a Pujols double in the eighth before Shawn Tolleson struck out two and Neal Cotts fanned another to end the threat. Kevin Jepsen stranded a runner at second in the seventh and Joe Smith did the same in the eighth for Los Angeles before Street gave up four hits without retiring a batter in the ninth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Los Angeles starter LHP Hector Santiago allowed one run on four hits over six innings and RHP Nick Tepesch permitted two runs on six hits and four walks over the first seven-plus innings for Texas. … The Rangers finished their homestand 2-5. … The Angels visit Boston to start a four-game series on Monday and Texas begins a two-game interleague set at Miami on Tuesday.
