Angels 13, Yankees 1: Los Angeles hit four home runs, highlighted by Albert Pujols' league-leading ninth of the season and Erick Aybar's first - a three-run shot - in a convincing road win over New York.

Ian Stewart and Collin Cowgill also homered for the Angels, whose sixth through ninth hitters all drove in multiple runs. Aybar finished 4-for-5 and scored four times while Hank Conger had three hits and three RBIs and Howie Kendrick added three hits and scored three times.

C.J. Wilson (3-2) was the beneficiary of Los Angeles' 16-hit attack, allowing a run and four hits over six innings. Hiroki Kuroda (2-2) gave up a season-high eight runs - six earned - in a season-low 4 2/3 innings for New York before the Angels tacked on five more runs against the Yankees' bullpen en route to their third win in four games.

After the Angels tallied three times in the second inning, Stewart slammed a two-run homer off Kuroda in the third and Pujols led off the fifth with a moonshot against the Japanese right-hander. An error by Yankees right fielder Carlos Beltran plated another run later in the frame, ending Kuroda's night before Bruce Billings came on and promptly gave up Conger's second RBI double of the game.

Aybar and Cowgill homered in a span of three batters against Billings in the seventh inning, making it 12-1. Los Angeles left fielder J.B. Schuck made a terrific, full-extension diving catch to end the eighth inning before Conger capped the scoring with a ninth-inning single that plated Aybar.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Pujols has nine home runs and 20 RBIs in his last 15 games. ... The Angels already have set a franchise record for home runs before the end of April (35). ... Brett Gardner had two hits for New York while Alfonso Soriano's sixth-inning sacrifice fly accounted for the Yankees' only run.
