Indians 3, White Sox 1: Jose Ramirez collected three hits, including a tiebreaking RBI triple in the seventh inning, and Corey Kluber tossed his third complete game of the season as host Cleveland clinched the three-game series.

Michael Brantley also recorded three hits and an RBI while Carlos Santana belted a solo homer for the Indians, who climbed within five games of first-place Kansas City in the American League Central and remained 4 1/2 behind Seattle for the second wild-card spot. Kluber (14-9) snapped his three-start losing streak in impressive fashion, limiting Chicago to an unearned run and five hits while registering eight strikeouts as Cleveland improved to 3-3 on its 11-game homestand.

Jordan Danks singled and scored the lone run for the White Sox, who dropped to 9-9 in the season series. Jose Quintana settled for a no-decision after yielding just one run and seven hits with seven strikeouts in six innings.

Chicago jumped on top in the third inning as Danks singled with one out and stole second before scoring when Cleveland first baseman Jesus Aguilar failed to come up with Adam Eaton's two-out grounder. The Indians drew even in the fourth, when Santana led off the frame by drilling Quintana's first pitch over the left-field wall for his team-leading 25th blast.

Cleveland staged a rally against Zach Putnam (4-3) in the seventh as Michael Bourn drew a one-out walk and scored on Ramirez's triple. Brantley followed with an RBI base hit to right field, giving the Indians an insurance run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Santana is two homers away from matching his career high set in 2011. ... Quintana continued his dominance against Cleveland as he is 3-0 with a 3.24 ERA in 11 career games - nine starts - versus the Indians. ... Chicago DH Jose Abreu went 0-for-4, ending his 14-game hitting streak.
