: Luke Scott drew a bases-loaded walk in the 10th inning as host Tampa Bay salvaged a split of its four-game series with Toronto in a rare showdown between reigning Cy Young Award winners.

After Evan Longoria hit a two-out double, Aaron Loup (1-3) walked James Loney intentionally. Brad Lincoln relieved and put Ryan Roberts on before walking Scott on a full-count fastball to make a winner out of Kyle Farnsworth (2-0), who retired Toronto in order in the top half of the inning.

Tampa Bay starter David Price finished with the upper hand in his duel with Toronto counterpart R.A. Dickey. Price allowed four runs - two earned - while striking out eight over eight innings, while Dickey was charged with three runs - two earned - on five hits and five walks in six frames.

Longoria opened the scoring with an RBI double off the center-field wall in the first inning and came around to score in a close play at the plate after Matt Joyce singled to right. Toronto halved the deficit on a Brett Lawrie run-scoring single up the middle in the second, Jose Bautista tied things with a line-drive double to left in the third and came around to score the go-ahead run on an Edwin Encarnacion broken-bat bloop single to shallow right.

After the teams traded runs, Steve Delabar relieved Dickey in the seventh and promptly surrendered a game-tying solo homer to former Toronto shortstop Yunel Escobar that barely cleared the center-field wall.

GAME NOTEBOOK
: Thursday marked the first non-interleague showdown between reigning Cy Young winners since Orel Hershiser of the Los Angeles Dodgers dropped a 1-0 decision to Frank Viola of the New York Mets on Aug. 28, 1989. ... Price's ERA dropped by more than a full point before he even took the mound. Earlier Thursday, Major League Baseball changed a single from Price's last start - a 9-3 loss to Colorado - into a Ben Zobrist error, lopping five earned runs off Price's final pitching line and shrinking his ERA from 6.25 to 5.24. ... Longoria finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored.
